Franny and I just got back from enjoying our niece, Elizabeth’s, dance recital. Each year, at about this time, we get to see how much more accomplished she is than she was just a short time ago. She works hard at it, as she does with everything she undertakes. And it shows.

Elizabeth has studied dance for 10 years. She’s always had talent. But only in the past several years has she made that amazing transformation from self-conscious to poised and self-assured. Tonight, she danced beautifully–and had amazing presence.

This evening was fun–it’s always a treat to celebrate the accomplishments of people we love.

Elizabeth, you were wonderful! Thanks for making us–and the rest of your family– proud of you, as always.
