Wishing you a Healthy, Happy, and Better New Year
It’s not often that I find myself thinking, “Good Riddance” to the year that’s about to fade into history. But as the minutes remaining in 2008 tick away, this is one of those times.
We’re all familiar with the worst of 2008–the continuing wars, the natural disasters, the suddenly visible effects of global warming, and the economic downturn that has turned rapidly into worldwide recession.
So, yes. Good Riddance to 2008. Let’s all hope that 2009 is better for everyone who inhabits our troubled planet.
On a more optimistic and personal note, I wish you and yours good health, prosperity, good times, and the love of family and friends in the New Year.
In 2009, may you savor the pleasures of each day and the joy of giving to others. May you find more–though possibly less costly–ways to have fun, and more reasons to smile and laugh. And may you celebrate all of the wonderful milestones that occur in the New Year–the special occasions that bring each of us so much happiness.
Thanks for your support in 2008. We’ll do our best to help you make 2009 even more enjoyable than you imagined. See you soon–
